Purple-Haired Lady

I have some free time and I'm getting out those brushes and pencils again... feels good to get away from the monitor and paint or draw for a while.

Though they're far from perfect, I'm kinda happy at how my stuff is turning out right now. It's just fun, really.

...I'm drawing again. I think it's been almost a whole year... considering that art has been a central element of my life for like 25 years that's pretty bad... so I'm happy to be back on my desk, macbook turned off, srcibbling in my sketchbook.

Oh yeah, I found some stuff from like 10 years ago... maybe I'll upload some of those pictures soon. Might be good for a laugh :)

I'm a student from Germany who loves drawing, enjoys good stories and is addicted to rock music. When I'm not at work I'm usually portraiying someone (girls most of the time), playing bass or wasting time with World of Warcraft. Yeah, I'm still addicted...

I'm hoping that art is the cure. Bear with me! At college I learn stuff like flash animations, photography and video / audio editing. As far as deviantart goes, I'll stick to traditional media like pencils and watercolor. Occasionally I might slip in some oil paintings, but those are the ones where I usually end up screaming with frustration. ;-)
